Community Engagement Drives Action Ashley Flowers' Fan Activation Strategy

Ashley Flowers, founder of audiochuck and host of the top true crime podcast Crime Junkie, wanted to deepen her connection with fans and turn passive listeners into active participants as she prepared for a 10-city tour. She used Community to create more personal, real-time engagement and encourage fans to get involved beyond simply consuming content.

Using Community, Ashley Flowers responded to fan texts, shared exclusive sneak peeks and presale codes, and segmented messages for attendees and non-attendees to drive tour, podcast, and petition engagement. The effort helped sell out the 10-city tour, kept the podcast at number one for nearly four weeks, generated over 130,000 petition signatures, and delivered response rates as high as 53.7%.
