Cloak, a digitally native, gamer-focused clothing brand, wanted to build hype for its Cloak x The Oregon Trail collection and engage its audience in a way that felt authentic, playful, and on-brand. To do that, they partnered with Community and used its messaging platform to create a unique pre-drop experience.

Using Community’s Auto-response Keywords feature, Cloak turned SMS into a text-based Oregon Trail-style adventure where members’ keyword responses guided the story. The campaign rewarded participants with a 15-minute early access window to the collection release text and generated a 23.8% CTR, showing that Community helped Cloak drive strong engagement and measurable results at scale.
