Zagga launches marketplace lending platform in under a year with Communica

Communica partnered with Zagga, a marketplace lending and investment platform startup, to develop its core technology. The challenge was to transform initial concepts from the management team into a robust, secure, and user-friendly platform that would meet the stringent requirements of the New Zealand Financial Markets Authority.

The solution implemented by Communica involved developing a smooth investor interface, a broker portal, and integrating with the finPOWER Connect accounting system and identity verification APIs. Communica underpinned the entire project with bank-level security and created the necessary architecture for machine learning to match investors with loans.
