Dallas Cowboys build The Star’s 25-acre HQ with CommScope

The Dallas Cowboys faced the challenge of designing a flexible network for their new world headquarters, The Star, to handle wide traffic swings while reducing energy consumption and data server strain. To build scalability and redundancy into all systems, they turned to their longtime partner, CommScope, for a solution involving their state-of-the-art DAS and structured cabling.

CommScope implemented a solution that included a GigaSPEED Category 6 and Category 6a cabling system, nearly 30 miles of fiber, and an InstaPATCH OM4 fiber trunk system. This infrastructure, comprising 683 miles of cabling, was designed to provide maximum performance and ensure seamless communication for visitors across the 25-acre complex. The result is a future-proof network that supports the Cowboys' day-to-day operations and promotes their sustainability efforts while reducing the total cost of ownership.
