Building a Suite of Mobile Public Healthcare Apps

Leicestershire Health Informatics Service (LHIS), hosted by the Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust, wanted to independently build and deliver a suite of mobile healthcare apps that could work across Android, iOS, and Windows while supporting multimedia content such as video, text, and audio. To meet this challenge, LHIS turned to CommonTime and its Infinity low-code application development platform.

Using CommonTime Infinity, LHIS’s in-house team was trained to develop and deploy apps themselves, reducing dependence on external support. CommonTime helped LHIS launch three apps so far — ECT, Young Onset Dementia (YOD), and Friends & Family Test — with strong patient feedback and growing downloads across the East Midlands and beyond; the approach has also enabled additional app projects to be scoped and started.
