A Commonplace Case Study

Preview of the Lambeth Case Study

Lambeth - Customer Case Study

Lambeth, working with Regeneris, needed to understand local views in West Norwood and Tulse Hill to inform a masterplan for new homes, jobs and investment. They appointed Commonplace and used its engagement platform (including Commonplace’s Survey Mode for face‑to‑face tablet interviews) to reach a large, demographically representative sample across residents, businesses and visitors.

Commonplace delivered a broad engagement campaign that generated over 2,700 responses (over 50% aged 45 or under), 1,600 agreements with comments, 22% web comments and 15% public-event comments, with 63% agreement rates on comment types. Commonplace’s neighbourhood-level analysis, heat maps and themed insights identified vacant sites, safety and high‑street issues and fed directly into local planning discussions—creating a unique evidence base the council and partners are using to shape the area’s regeneration and investment decisions.
