Socomore Takes Order Management to a New Plane with commercebuild

Socomore, a global leader in surface preparation, testing and treatment solutions, needed a digital way for customers to place and track orders and to access order paperwork—bill of lading, certificate of conformance and invoices—immediately as those documents became available in their Sage ERP. To meet this need, Socomore partnered with commercebuild to extend their e‑commerce and order management capabilities.

commercebuild implemented an Order Document Synchronization feature on the commercebuild platform that shows documents by customer and order number and attaches them at the order level for easy searching. The integration also ensures orders submitted via commercebuild are automatically entered into Socomore’s Sage ERP; the first customer rollout is expected to cut manual line entries by 80% while giving customers direct access to order status, history and invoices, reducing email traffic and improving operational efficiency.
