How Non-stop dogwear 3x’d online sales by meeting international demand

Non-Stop Dogwear, a Norwegian brand that designs professional gear for active dogs and their humans, needed a commerce stack that could keep up with growing international demand. Their existing all-in-one setup couldn’t easily support expansion into new markets, multiple currencies, or the ability to move quickly on roadmap priorities.

Commerce Layer helped Non-Stop Dogwear implement a headless, Jamstack-based architecture with multi-market commerce capabilities, alongside Directus and Gatsby. Using Commerce Layer’s API, they configured markets by stock location, price list, currency, tax, payment, and shipping in one instance, and expanded to 74 countries and 7 currencies. The result was strong site performance, greater operational flexibility, and more than a tripling of online sales in 2021, with a 2.5x sales target increase for 2022.
