General Pants Co. connects to more customers where they buy with Comestri

General Pants Co., a Sydney-based streetwear retailer with 55 stores across Australia and New Zealand, needed a way to streamline its move into marketplaces while working with its existing ERP. As Chief Digital Officer Paula Mitchell and eCommerce Manager Federico Jalil looked to expand into new sales channels, they chose Comestri, a marketplace connector and platform, to simplify multi-marketplace management and support their ecommerce strategy.

General Pants Co. implemented Comestri in late 2019 and used it to launch and manage marketplace sales, including an eBay store, just as consumer demand shifted rapidly to ecommerce in early 2020. With Comestri, the retailer was able to pivot quickly, reach new audiences through five active channels, and manage 180k+ SKUs with less resourcing, while also seeing potential to extend Comestri’s PIM capabilities beyond marketplaces to power its wider ecommerce catalogue.
