The City of Lake Elsinore's Code Enforcement Department needed a solution to effectively manage, track, and report on abandoned vehicle abatement activities to secure critical reimbursement funds from the county. Without dedicated software, this complex administrative task had become increasingly difficult. To solve this, the city partnered with vendor Comcate to implement its Code Enforcement Manager product.

Comcate implemented its highly configurable case management software, which was designed to track multiple vehicles per property and easily capture all reimbursable activities. As a result, the city now seamlessly produces the detailed quarterly reports required for reimbursement, processes citation fees, and tracks officer activity. The system, handling roughly 100 cases monthly, has delivered as promised, automating processes and providing tremendous benefit to officers in the field.
