City of Upper Arlington cuts resident app concerns to 3 responses with Comcate

The City of Upper Arlington, Ohio's Public Service department had outgrown its electronic work order system and needed a new solution to manage public interaction and service requests for infrastructure maintenance. They partnered with Comcate for its CRM/311 solution to provide a modern, customer-facing interface for residents.

Comcate's solution integrated with OpenGov’s asset management software to create a unified system. Residents submit issues through Comcate's public portal, which then generates a work order in OpenGov; upon completion, an automated update is sent back to the resident. The transition was smooth for residents, who now have an easy-to-use widget on the city website, and Comcate helped the city consolidate its request options into a single, mobile-responsive tool.
