City of Florence, KY Increases Code Enforcement Capacity by 52% with Purpose-Built Software

The City of Florence, KY needed to replace outdated code enforcement software that was not built for its workflow, lacked mobile support, GIS mapping, notice generation, and required heavy customization to track fines and citations. The city chose Comcate’s Code Enforcement Manager (CEM) to better support its officers and modernize case management.

Comcate implemented a purpose-built solution with electronic case history, automated notice generation, GIS integration, image attachments, and seamless use across desktop and iPad. As a result, the City of Florence increased annual code case capacity from about 2,500 to 3,800 cases, a 52% boost, while also making court preparation and overall enforcement much more efficient.
