A Comcast Spotlight Case Study
Virginia Beach Convention and Visitors Bureau partnered with Comcast Spotlight to promote Virginia Beach as a family vacation destination. The challenge was to reach adults 35–54 with families, along with baby boomers and couples, across multiple cities while driving more traffic to its website and a campaign microsite.
Comcast Spotlight delivered a multi-screen campaign using video-on-demand, cable television, and online advertising on XFINITY.com. The campaign exceeded goals: website visits rose 20% year over year, unique visitors increased 21%, page views grew 18%, and the microsite drew more than 100,000 viewers and 95,000 unique visitors. Comcast Spotlight also helped achieve a 3.37% average interaction rate and a .12% click-through rate.
