A Comcast Spotlight Case Study
Valparaiso University, facing new leadership, a new mission statement, and a need to expand recruiting beyond its traditional audience, needed to reach prospective students and parents with limited marketing funds. Comcast Spotlight helped the university address this challenge with a targeted, multi-screen advertising campaign that combined TV and digital placements.
Comcast Spotlight placed Valparaiso University ads across popular TV networks and sports programming, while also running XFINITY.com in-banner video advertising featuring a 30-second commercial, long-form video, and links to applications, social media, academics, athletics, admissions, and student life. The campaign generated more than 6,800 digital video views and 520 direct leads, increased traffic to the university’s social media pages, and contributed to the highest enrollment in school history.
