A Comcast Spotlight Case Study
University of Detroit Mercy partnered with Comcast Spotlight to address years of declining and then flat enrollment following the Great Recession in Detroit. The university needed to boost awareness and drive interest among prospective students, parents, and graduate candidates, with a goal of achieving 1% to 2% enrollment growth.
Comcast Spotlight designed a multi-screen advertising campaign using TV, in-banner and in-stream video, and display banners to reach the target audiences across the Detroit market. By placing ads around popular sports programming and reinforcing the message with links to UDM’s website and social channels, Comcast Spotlight helped University of Detroit Mercy grow year-over-year enrollment by more than 10%, generate 133 hours of video viewing, and deliver over 4.6 million display impressions.
