A Comcast Spotlight Case Study
SwedishAmerican Health System, a regional provider in Rockford, Illinois, wanted to build awareness and reinforce its position as the leading choice for cardiac, cancer, and stroke care. To do that, it partnered with Comcast Spotlight to develop a multi-screen advertising campaign that would help distinguish it from competitors and support its centers of excellence.
Comcast Spotlight created a consistent TV and online campaign using the same visual messaging across both channels. The strategy included targeted cable TV placements, in-banner video ads on XFINITY.com, e-mail sign-in and homepage roadblock advertising, and custom page takeovers. The effort helped SwedishAmerican rank as the most preferred choice in 19 of 21 categories, lead competitors in cardiac care by 24 points, cancer care by 9 points, and stroke care by 11 points, with an overall consumer preference score nearly 10 points higher than its closest competitor.
