She’s Happy Hair, a retail hair extensions business based in Houston, needed a way to grow beyond its original store and reach African-American women more effectively across local markets. Working with Comcast Spotlight, the company used targeted multi-screen marketing to build awareness and support expansion.

Comcast Spotlight created a campaign using TV placements on networks like BET, Bravo, OWN, TVOne, VH1 and WE tv, along with digital ads on XFINITY.com, including static banners, in-banner video, and pre-roll. Comcast Spotlight also helped She’s Happy Hair develop a memorable hip-hop jingle and commercial strategy, and the results were strong: annual sales doubled to tripled over several years, and the business grew from one location to multiple stores in Houston, Dallas, Detroit, and Mobile, AL.
