Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, a longtime advertiser with Comcast Spotlight, wanted to take its marketing to the next level by adding digital video to its multi-screen advertising. The goal was to drive more individual ticket and season pass sales, while also increasing secondary revenue from parking and concessions.
Comcast Spotlight delivered a full-market campaign combining TV and digital, using family-focused networks, broader adult-targeted channels for special events, and its I+ platform to extend reach to DIRECTV and DISH subscribers. The park also ran in-banner video on XFINITY.com and three sign-in page takeovers, resulting in a 7.8% attendance increase in the first six months, more than 400 monthly clickthroughs, and over 600 hours of monthly engagement.
