Pigeon Forge Department of Tourism partnered with Comcast Spotlight to reach vacation planners—especially moms—with timely travel inspiration for the resort town of Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. The challenge was to engage this key audience and get travel planners into their hands quickly enough to influence trip planning.
Comcast Spotlight created a multi-screen campaign using audience targeting on TV networks, Request for Information functionality, I+ TV reach, and digital advertising on XFINITY.com. The effort drove a 4% increase in annual tourism revenue, a 7% rise in overnight visits, and generated $21 in value for every dollar invested; 20% of people who requested a planner said they either visited or were likely to visit Pigeon Forge in the future.
