Peoria Area Convention and Visitors Bureau wanted to capitalize on the growing popularity of staycations by reaching Chicago-area residents and promoting Peoria’s tourist attractions within driving distance of the city. To do this, the bureau partnered with Comcast Spotlight to build a geographically targeted, multi-screen advertising campaign.

Comcast Spotlight delivered television ads across four zones of the Chicago market on networks like ABC Family, Food Network, HGTV, History, TNT, OWN, and Oxygen, supported by in-banner video on XFINITY.com linking to the bureau’s Facebook and YouTube pages. The campaign generated more than 2,900 video-on-demand views, over 77 hours of VOD viewing, more than 39,800 online video views, 959 click-throughs to the bureau’s website, and over 79 hours of online video watched.
