Pasadena Fire Department, a volunteer fire department in Houston, needed to attract more applicants, especially adults ages 24–35 living near local firehouses. They turned to Comcast Spotlight for a multi-screen advertising approach that could help them reach the right local audience more effectively.
Comcast Spotlight ran a campaign using targeted TV networks such as A&E, Discovery, FX, History, Spike, Syfy, TBS, TNT, truTV, and USA, along with XFINITY.com static and in-banner video ads, all geographically targeted to the Pasadena area. The three-month campaign helped increase fire academy applicants from an average of 15 to 29, delivering a measurable boost in recruitment.
