Olympic Bus Lines, a Port Angeles, WA travel and tourism company serving the Olympic Peninsula to Seattle route, wanted to increase ridership by reaching local residents in its own backyard. It partnered with Comcast Spotlight to help position the company as “the bus to Seattle” through targeted advertising.
Comcast Spotlight developed a geographically targeted campaign using local TV spots, cable sports coverage, and in-banner video ads on FOXNews.com, with creative rotated seasonally throughout the year. The effort generated more than 6,200 online video views, over 355,000 digital impressions, and a 20% increase in Facebook page likes, while overall business continued to grow.
