A Comcast Spotlight Case Study
Mount Pleasant Chevrolet, a newly rebranded dealership in Mount Pleasant, SC, needed to rebuild sales and market share after a change in ownership, while nearby road construction made it difficult for customers to reach the store. Comcast Spotlight helped the dealership reintroduce itself to the community using targeted TV and digital advertising focused on a 5-10 mile radius around the dealership.
Comcast Spotlight built a multi-screen campaign that used geographic targeting, TV network selection based on likely Chevrolet owners, added NFL programming to reach truck buyers, and expanded digital support with static, in-banner, pre-roll video, and XFINITY.com roadblocks. The results were strong: total vehicle sales rose from 210 to 491, parts sales grew 215%, service sales increased 150%, and online sales improved from 2.1% to 12.75%. Within the targeted zones, registrations increased 78% and share rose 81%, eventually allowing Mount Pleasant Chevrolet to shift budget away from local broadcast TV and into Comcast Spotlight’s video solutions.
