Moab Area Travel Council, a travel and tourism agency serving Utah’s Moab region, partnered with Comcast Spotlight to boost tourism awareness and build a prospect database of potential visitors from Utah and neighboring Colorado. The council’s challenge was to increase exposure for Moab’s attractions and generate qualified leads it could follow up with additional information.
Comcast Spotlight delivered a multi-screen advertising campaign using targeted TV and digital placements tailored to different audiences by season, including networks such as ESPN, Discovery, Travel Channel, and regional sports, plus banner ads and a homepage takeover on XFINITY.com. The campaign generated 423 leads in Utah and 264 leads in Colorado, while consumers watched more than 300 cumulative hours of online video about visiting Moab.
