Kirby Medical Center, presented by Comcast Spotlight, wanted to boost awareness and participation for the annual Kirby Derby in Monticello, IL. As the 5K walk/10K run and kids’ race grew, the team needed a more effective way to reach women, adults ages 25–54, parents, and children while supporting its existing marketing efforts.

Comcast Spotlight provided a multi-screen video advertising strategy using targeted TV and digital ads in the Monticello area. The campaign ran across adult and family-friendly networks plus in-banner video on FOXNews.com, driving traffic to the race website and social pages. The results included a record 1,250 participants, up 50 from the prior year, along with more sponsorships that helped offset costs.
