A Comcast Spotlight Case Study
Jacksonville University School of Orthodontics worked with Comcast Spotlight to help stand out in a crowded market of low-cost competitors while working with a smaller budget. The school also wanted to build a database of potential patients, especially families considering braces for a member, and needed a way to reach women ages 35-54 in the Jacksonville area.
Comcast Spotlight created a multi-screen campaign that combined targeted TV ads and city-wide online video, running seasonal spring and fall efforts across select Jacksonville zones and broader-reach channels like Lifetime, HGTV, Food Network, USA, and FOX News. The campaign highlighted the school’s advanced technology, wide range of services, and affordable pricing, and drove viewers to a registration site for a chance to win free braces. Results included a .73% spring click-through rate with 802 clicks, a .85% fall click-through rate with 774 clicks, and 824 online registrations, beating the goal by more than 60%.
