A Comcast Spotlight Case Study
IBEW Local 175, the Chattanooga-based electrical workers union, needed to raise awareness of its community contributions and apprenticeship program while also influencing local business decision makers to hire union members for construction jobs. To reach both audiences, it partnered with Comcast Spotlight on a multi-screen video advertising campaign.
Comcast Spotlight built a custom media plan using targeted TV networks along with digital in-banner and in-stream pre-roll video on XFINITY.com. The campaign helped increase applications to IBEW’s apprenticeship school, strengthened its relationship with a contractors’ association, and delivered a pro-union message in the market.
