Godby Home Furnishings, a three-store retail chain in the Indianapolis area, needed to let customers shopping for bedroom furniture know they could also buy a mattress without going elsewhere. Working with Comcast Spotlight, the retailer aimed to raise awareness of its mattress selection and pricing while driving a 10% year-over-year sales increase over a three-month period.
Comcast Spotlight delivered a multi-screen campaign using broad-reach TV networks such as Bravo, Discovery, ESPN, Food Network, FOX News, and HGTV, plus digital in-banner video on XFINITY.com and FOXNews.com. Comcast Spotlight also used geographic segmentation to target neighborhoods near Godby’s stores, helping the chain exceed its goal with an 18% increase in mattress sales overall and a 27% lift at the top-performing store.
