Gerald Auto Group, a five-dealership automotive group in the Chicago market, wanted to extend the top-of-mind awareness it had built through television advertising into the online space. Working with Comcast Spotlight, the company looked for a way to reach local consumers where they already watched TV and shopped online, while keeping its brand message consistent across channels.
Comcast Spotlight created a coordinated TV and digital strategy for Gerald Auto Group, using zone-targeted television schedules and in-banner video advertising on XFINITY.com that could be updated with content from the company’s website. The campaign increased third-party referral rates to Dealer.com- and Cobalt-hosted sites, delivered more than 1,840 in-banner video views in one month, and achieved a 2.85% engagement rate.
