Gatlinburg, Tennessee, a travel and tourism destination, wanted to attract more Middle Tennessee residents by highlighting the appeal of a closer-to-home vacation. Comcast Spotlight helped address this challenge with a multi-screen advertising campaign and custom sweepstakes designed to build awareness and generate leads for the city’s database of potential tourists.

Comcast Spotlight promoted a three-day hotel getaway through tagged TV commercials tied to Travel Channel programming, plus ads across networks like ABC Family, Hallmark, Nickelodeon, and others, along with banner ads on XFINITY.com driving traffic to a custom contest site. The campaign delivered more than 200 contest entries and was successful enough that Gatlinburg ran a second sweepstakes for the fall season.
