Delaware State Education Association - Customer Case Study

The Delaware State Education Association (DSEA), an advocacy organization representing more than 13,000 public-school employees in Delaware, wanted to spotlight the outstanding work of its members and reach the right local audience. To do that, DSEA partnered with Comcast Spotlight for a targeted video advertising campaign using television and digital video placements.

Comcast Spotlight built a geographically focused campaign in New Castle and Kent counties and targeted women ages 25–54 through TV networks such as A&E, ABC Family, Bravo, HGTV, OWN, TLC, and TNT, along with pre-roll video ads on XFINITY.com. The effort paid off with public response to DSEA’s social media pages increasing by more than 30%, and the association reporting “tremendous” word-of-mouth recognition from elected officials and parents.
