B&B Promotions, a Jackson, MS event promoter, needed a better way to drive attendance to its two annual shows: a family-focused car show in January and a motorcycle show in March. Working with Comcast Spotlight, the company looked for a multi-screen video advertising approach that could reach the different audiences for each event more effectively.

Comcast Spotlight built a targeted media plan using TV and digital video placements across sports, WWE, MMA, A&E, History, TNT, and family-friendly channels like ABC Family/Freeform, Cartoon Network, Food Network, HGTV, and Nickelodeon, plus XFINITY.com pre-roll, in-banner video, and banner ads. The campaign also included on-site promotions with costumed kids’ characters, and the result was the highest attendance ever for both shows, benefiting vendors and sponsors as well.
