A Comcast Spotlight Case Study
Adventure Aquarium, a Philadelphia-area travel and tourism attraction in Camden, NJ, wanted to reverse a summertime attendance downturn and build awareness for its newer experiences, including its shark exhibit. Comcast Spotlight helped the aquarium reach families with children ages 3–12, using a multi-screen approach that included television and interactive rich media on Xfinity.com.
Comcast Spotlight’s summer-long campaign for “Shark Fest” used TV to generate broad awareness and online display ads to drive ticket sales and social engagement. The results were strong: summer attendance increased 24% year over year, Philadelphia attendance rose 28%, total revenue grew 17%, and the campaign delivered more than 17.7 million display impressions and nearly 26,000 clicks.
