Case Study: Denver Broncos achieves immersive, stadium-wide HD and 25,000-user Wi‑Fi game-day experience with Comcast Business

A Comcast Business Case Study

Preview of the Denver Broncos Case Study

The Denver Broncos Take Home-Field Advantage to a New Level with Comcast Business

The Denver Broncos, playing at Sports Authority Field at Mile High, needed to deliver an immersive multimedia game-day experience while supporting growing staff and video needs across their stadium and training facilities. Rising mobile-device use, demand for HD replays on 1,000+ screens, and heavy game-day and back-office traffic had outgrown the stadium’s existing 40 Mbps links and phone circuits.

Comcast Business upgraded the Broncos to 100 Mbps Ethernet Dedicated Internet (upgradable to 10 Gbps), a 100 Mbps Ethernet Private Line between stadium and offices, PRI trunks and stadium HDTV, on a backbone scalable to 10G. The upgrades enabled tapeless backups, faster video transfer and analysis, support for up to 25,000 simultaneous Wi‑Fi connections, and improved voice and operational collaboration for staff, players and fans.
