The Boston Celtics needed to modernize and expand their administrative headquarters while solving persistent communication problems between their downtown offices and a separate practice facility in Waltham. With different vendors, a T3 line at the practice site, separate voice systems and users forced to rely on VPNs and workaround calling methods, the organization sought a single vendor solution to provide reliable high-speed connectivity and a unified phone system.

Comcast Business delivered a 50 Mbps Ethernet Dedicated Internet link at the practice facility, a 100 Mbps Ethernet Private Line between sites and PRI trunks to consolidate voice, creating a single, managed network. The result was seamless data and voice connectivity, much faster uploads/downloads (notably faster game-video transfers), simplified IT management and improved collaboration across coaching, business and marketing teams.
