A Comcast Business Case Study
Jordan’s Furniture, a beloved New England retailer with six locations and headquarters in East Taunton, MA, depended on a hub‑and‑spoke network of bonded 3 Mbps T1 lines to run sales, inventory, VoIP and corporate applications. Those legacy links required expensive WAN compression and acceleration, offered limited bandwidth and scalability, and left the company without sufficient redundancy for disaster recovery or real‑time video surveillance.
Jordan’s replaced the T1s with Comcast Business Ethernet Network Service and a fiber Ethernet Dedicated Internet circuit, creating a meshed, high‑performance network. The new solution eliminated the need for compression software, reduced costs, enabled near real‑time off‑site data replication, supported live video surveillance and improved uptime — giving the company the capacity and footprint to support future expansion.
