Epiatech, a software developer for laboratory IT, was tasked by a major pharmaceutical company to create a solution for analyzing lab data from an Oracle database. Their challenge was to generate sophisticated reports and labels with QR codes, allow output to PDF or printer, and automate the process of saving reports directly back to the database. For this, they required a user-friendly reporting tool that separated data from design.

Using the reporting tool List & Label from vendor combit, Epiatech developed the Limit Manager application. The solution enabled intuitive report creation, automatic PDF generation, and seamless database integration. The measurable results include global deployment, with over 30 users per branch utilizing the system to track and analyze chemical substance changes. combit's tool was so successful that Epiatech has used it in ten projects and plans to use it for all future reporting needs.
