Case Study: Telekom Deutschland achieves end-to-end service visibility with Comarch Resource & Service Inventory

A Comarch Case Study

Preview of the Telekom Deutschland Case Study

Telekom Deutschland - Customer Case Study

TELEKOM DEUTSCHLAND (T‑Mobile Germany) faced a fragmented OSS landscape across multiple national operators and needed to optimize Incident, Problem and Change Management while improving cooperation between Service Inventory and diverse Resource/Configuration systems. Comarch was engaged to deliver its Comarch Resource & Service Inventory (R&SI) to provide flexible service modeling, NGOSS-aligned data modeling and broad integration capabilities to unify service and resource layers.

Comarch implemented R&SI in phased deployments (starting with a proof of concept), integrating it with existing inventory, fault management and trouble‑ticketing systems so R&SI became the master for service models in many domains while holding read‑only copies in others. The result, delivered by Comarch, was end‑to‑end service visibility, smoother Service–Resource integration, a simplified architecture with fewer interfaces, and improved Incident/Problem/Change management — establishing a foundation for further consolidation and future OSS automation.
