Telefónica O2 Germany needed to replace disparate element management systems with a single platform able to directly interface with thousands of multivendor network elements, perform full device configuration (including firmware upgrades), and correlate data into one consistent view. To meet these requirements Telefónica O2 Germany engaged Comarch to deploy the Comarch OSS Suite (Inventory, Configuration, Fault and Performance Management).

Comarch implemented the OSS Suite to provide direct element interfaces, centralized inventory, GUI-driven configuration and automated fault correlation plus GIS and logical visualizations. As a result, Comarch delivered unified, real-time control across domains, consolidated network and configuration data, automated fault handling and improved network reliability—reducing operational complexity and OPEX while future-proofing Telefónica O2 Germany’s network.
