Technicolor, a global leader in media and entertainment technology, needed to streamline a complex, multinational procure-to-pay operation that suffered from manual invoice registration, poor process tracking, limited ERP integration and inflexible workflows. To address these challenges Technicolor engaged Comarch to deploy its Comarch e-Invoicing SaaS solution to automate incoming document capture, validation and end-to-end accounts payable processing.
Comarch implemented a flexible global e-invoicing platform (OCR, multi-channel capture, workflow, electronic archiving and two‑way synchronization with nine ERP systems), delivering the rollout across 34 business entities in a 10‑month program (initial rollout in under five months, full deployment in three additional months) and integrating with existing systems in as little as two working days. As a result, Comarch’s solution produced a high automation rate, shortened invoice approval cycles, centralized AP invoices, auditable and streamlined processes, self-service invoice status for users and improved supplier relations.
