SSP Germany — The Food Travel Experts, a global operator with over 2,100 locations across 30 countries, struggled with a flood of paperwork, slow invoice approvals and uncoordinated inspections as its business expanded. To modernize supplier communication, centralize invoicing and improve logistics planning, SSP Germany selected Comarch and deployed Comarch AP Automation together with the Comarch B2B Network for electronic document exchange.
Comarch implemented a central invoice-processing workflow (BPM plus Comarch AP Automation) in Eschborn, scanning paper invoices, routing approvals via browser-based workflows and onboarding partners to the Comarch B2B Network; the network will cover partners responsible for 80% of document volume out of ~3,000 suppliers. The solution delivered faster document exchange, centralized control of invoices, improved supplier management, remote access for staff and clear cost savings by shifting manual paper processes to electronic processing.
