Case Study: BNP Paribas Fortis unifies 160,000 corporate customers and boosts SME profits 10% with Comarch Corporate Banking (Comarch)

A Comarch Case Study

Preview of the BNP Paribas Fortis Case Study

Migrating newly acquired customers and data to a single BNP Paribas system

BGŻ BNP Paribas needed to consolidate the newly acquired BGŻ bank’s systems and nearly 100,000 corporate customers onto BNP Paribas’s platform without disrupting operations. They engaged Comarch and its Comarch Corporate Banking solution to handle a high-risk, fast-paced migration that had to preserve popular features (Vasco tokens, Elixir Express instant payments, Vision card integration) and be completed within a 90-day window.

Comarch delivered a customized, agile implementation of Comarch Corporate Banking, incrementally migrating functionality, integrating required features and providing demos and close collaboration to manage changes. The unified platform grew the corporate customer base to 160,000, rolled out mobile apps and express transfers, produced a 10% profit increase in the SME segment and helped reduce BNP’s cost/income ratio from 84% to 71%, while establishing a stable central system and ongoing support from Comarch.
