METRO-NOM, the IT services arm supporting METRO AG’s retail operations, faced high costs, errors and slow paper-based communications with thousands of suppliers and needed a scalable, global EDI platform. To modernize and automate supplier interactions METRO-NOM migrated from its previous tool to Comarch’s solution, leveraging the Comarch B2B Network / Comarch EDI to improve transaction speed, accuracy and scalability.

Comarch implemented a full migration and managed EDI service—hosting the EDI platform in Comarch data centers and taking responsibility for infrastructure, message processing, translations, monitoring and support. The migration was completed in one year and now covers 24 countries, 35 sales lines, 234 mappings and over 20,000 trading partners, delivering cost reductions, faster and safer data transfer, end-to-end automation of supply-chain documents and improved decision-making for METRO-NOM.
