A Comarch Case Study
ING (ING Bank Śląski) faced a competitive Polish corporate banking market and needed to automate growing volumes of online corporate transactions while offering a single, scalable, integrated user interface for cash management, trade finance, FX and liquidity services. To address these goals the bank partnered with Comarch and deployed Comarch Corporate Banking, a multi-channel platform designed for scale, speed, integration and strategic flexibility.
Comarch implemented the solution first in 2007 and delivered a redesigned Comarch platform (with a revamped UX) to ING clients in 2016 after switching to agile delivery and embedding its team with the bank. The deployment drove measurable impact: a roughly 10x increase in corporate customers (from ~5,000 to over 50,000), about 100,000 users, support across five channels (desktop, tablet, mobile, host‑to‑host and wearables) and position as a top‑three corporate bank in Poland, with the Comarch solution also adopted by ING in multiple other countries.
