Esselte, a global office‑supplies manufacturer with subsidiaries in 31 countries, needed to re‑host a large German data centre closer to its new Shared Service Centre in Warsaw and to transition critical SAP, email and support systems without business disruption. After a competitive tender, Esselte selected Comarch to provide long‑term hosting and technical support in the Comarch Data Center, with stringent SLA and high‑availability (99.9% target) requirements and the ability to host multiple critical systems on a single trustworthy site.

Comarch built a dedicated infrastructure at its Kraków Comarch Data Center—separate production and test environments, high‑availability clusters, SAN storage, RISC (IBM AIX) and HP/Dell Wintel servers—backed by 24x7x365 monitoring and full‑service management. The migration was completed without disruption, delivering Tier‑3 stability and redundancy, lower cost versus internal hosting, ensured continuity and security of Esselte’s SAP and email systems, and compliance with the agreed 99.9% annual availability target.
