A Comarch Case Study
Drosed Group, a major Polish poultry producer and part of the French LDC group (about 1.2 billion PLN in annual revenues, ~100,000 tons output and 2,400 staff), needed to migrate its Data Centre services while ensuring business continuity for core systems including an Oracle JD Edwards ERP and a dedicated business intelligence solution. Drosed selected Comarch to be the technology partner to meet these standards and handle complex tasks such as transforming a DB2 database into an Oracle base and maintaining uninterrupted operation across multiple sites.
Comarch identified Drosed’s requirements, migrated all systems and business data to Comarch’s Data Centre, performed the DB2-to-Oracle migration, took over WAN management, installed new edge devices and telecom lines, and provided mobile access via Cisco AnyConnect plus CNMS and continuous monitoring under an SLA. The project was delivered by Comarch on schedule and within budget, guaranteeing business continuity, optimized network performance, predictable monthly costs and faster system restart times while supporting Drosed’s large-scale operations.
