Case Study: Bank Pekao achieves innovative tablet banking and enhanced personal finance management with Comarch

Comarch and Pekao S.A. (UniCredit group) present innovative tablet app

Bank Pekao S.A., a member of UniCredit Group, needed to give a growing number of tablet users convenient, full-featured access to their Pekao24 accounts while adding personal finance management (PFM) tools. Comarch delivered the Pekao24 na tablety (Pekao24 for tablets) app — Poland’s first tablet banking app integrated with a PFM tool — to address rising tablet usage and the demand for clearer expense insight.

Comarch implemented the solution using an Agile, phased approach (launched 26 January 2016), combining all Pekao24 functions with graphical expense analysis, simplified transfer and repayment forms, and an innovative graphical menu. The Comarch app improved navigation and usability through regular testing, made key operations noticeably faster than comparable Polish tablet solutions, and gave customers clear daily/weekly/monthly expense categorizations to better manage their budgets.
