A Comarch Case Study
BP Polska, the Polish arm of global energy company BP with 500 service stations and over 3,000 employees in Poland, faced heavy paper use, high error rates and labor‑intensive processing from more than 500 daily orders for its stores and Wild Bean Cafés. To address this, BP Polska engaged Comarch to implement the Comarch EDI platform (introduced in 2006) and later add the Comarch EDI Tracking module to monitor document flows and order schedules.
Comarch implemented EDI connectivity, expanded document types (ASN, CASN, DISREP) and deployed EDI Tracking to give BP Polska full visibility and SLA control over orders and deliveries; by 2014 the solution handled about 60,000 documents per month. The Comarch solution reduced paper and operational costs, improved delivery efficiency, enabled end‑to‑end document control and discrepancy tracking, and is being extended with Comarch EDI Archive and reporting capabilities.
