With Colt, RCI Bank & Services ensures quality and business continuity

RCI Bank & Services Italy, the Italian arm of the Renault/Nissan group’s financing business, needed to reduce dropped incoming calls while ensuring business continuity and meeting strict security and reliability requirements. The company also wanted to strengthen its credit application platform for the dealership network it supports across Italy. Colt Technology Services provided the IN Geo Number and Colt INteractiv solutions to address these needs.

Colt Technology Services implemented IVR and call-group management to track inbound and outbound calls, improve routing, and cut the call dropout rate to the 20% target. Colt also delivered a disaster recovery site in Rome with dedicated space, redundant safety measures, and compliant infrastructure, later expanded to support 32 users in a crisis. The results included better service levels, faster and more reliable call handling, time and resource savings through system integration, and proven continuity during the 2008 flood when the DR site was used.
