H.I.S. Co., Ltd., a large travel and tourism company with offices across Japan and overseas, was struggling to manage its IT systems in-house as hardware costs, maintenance, and connectivity issues began to consume too many engineering resources. To simplify operations and support its international offices, H.I.S. turned to Colt Technology Services for Dedicated Cloud Access to connect to Amazon Web Services.

Colt Technology Services implemented dedicated, redundant Ethernet connectivity for AWS Direct Connect, along with Managed IT Devices and Amazon VPC Implementation Support. As a result, H.I.S. reduced administrative overhead, staffing, and operating costs while improving security and stability compared with its previous VPN setup.
